Myrtle Beach Hosts Duck Dynasty Teens for Beach Blast Christian Music Festival
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., April 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Myrtle Beach area will soon welcome Duck Dynasty stars Sadie Robertson and John Luke Robertson as part of the Beach Blast Christian Music Festival hosted on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at The Grand Strand, Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The siblings are using their newfound celebrity status for good as teenage members of the first family of duck calls, The Robertson's of A&E's Duck Dynasty. Earlier this year, Sadie introduced a "Willie approved" prom dress line called "Sadie Robertson Live Original" and is co-producing a weekly YouTube show called "The New Different," based on her Bible studies and viewpoints from Scripture. As guest speakers for Beach Blast 2014, Sadie and her brother will be sharing their counter-culture attitudes and Christian lifestyles to inspire today's teens during the Christian music festival in Myrtle Beach. They are joining headlining artists Skillet, along with Jesus Culture's Kim Walker-Smith, Derek Johnson and Katie Torwalt; plus, Jamie Grace and For King & Country! John Nix of Vertical Purpose Ministries of Memphis, TN will be the emcee for the day.
The fifth anniversary of the outdoor festival will be held at the corner of 8th and 9th Avenues North, within earshot of the ocean and right across from the boardwalk and all the major Myrtle Beach attractions.
Super Early Bird specials run through April 11, 2014 with prices starting at $18 for children and $33 for adults. Group rates are also available at discounted rates. A family four-pack is only $75 through April 11. Vendors will be offering food, beverages, jewelry, t-shirts and crafts for sale throughout the day.
"This family-friendly festival has been a huge hit with visitors and locals alike the past four years and we're excited to partner again with Premier Festivals to welcome it back to the area with an exciting lineup of performers," said Amie Lee, owner of Palmetto Event Promotions. "We're looking forward to another great turnout and to celebrating the start of summer here along the Grand Strand with Beach Blast."
