SYOSSET, N.Y., June 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Myron Arlen, of Great Neck, New York, has been included in the Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Edition for his outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of Biotechnology.

About MYRON ARLEN
Dr. Myron Arlen has over 50 years experience in the biotechnology arena. He founded Neogenix Oncology in 2003, a clinical stage biotechnology company focused on developing therapeutic and diagnostic products for the early detection and treatment of cancer. Currently he conducts clinical trials through Duke and Johns Hopkins Universities. Previously, Dr. Arlen served as a Cancer Surgeon, was Chief Resident at the Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital and was involved in the surgery of advanced cancer problems and immunotherapeutic approaches to managing the patients. In 1990, he worked with the National Cancer Institute and George Washington University to develop cancer vaccines that doubled and tripled survival rates for patients. Dr. Arlen has published two major textbooks and published over 90 journal articles related to cancer treatment. He received his M.D. from SUNY Downstate in 1957 and belongs to the Society of Surgical Oncology, the American Association for Cancer Research and the Association for Clinical Oncology. Dr. Arlen was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1932.
