myLIFTER Hits Its $100,000 Stretch Goal for Android 4.3 Support; Doubles Lift Capacity
-- myLIFTER now can lift up to 100 pounds with single device --
PROVO, Utah, Jan. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Having reached its initial Kickstarter goal of $50,000 and a $100,000 stretch goal to add support for Android 4.3 devices, myLIFTER has decided to double the weight capacity to 100 pounds for its smart motorized lifter. The myLIFTER Kickstarter campaign ends Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. EST.
"We were overwhelmed with the product's acceptance among the Kickstarter community and have decided to not only add Android 4.3 support, but also make the myLIFTER strong enough to lift up to 100 pounds with just one lifter," said Jerome Miles, myLIFTER inventor and campaign lead. "Being able to reach our goals has given us confidence that this is a product people really want and can use. We're excited to get it to market to see all the different ways people will put it to use."
myLIFTER is designed to solve two problems: eliminate wasted space in garages and other areas, and, two, by helping users lift and lower heavy or large items with a Bluetooth LE device or smartphone.
The product is slightly larger than a human fist and weighs only two pounds and is incredibly easy to install. With the development of an Android app, customers will be able to use the SmartLIFT feature that can be easily programed with beginning and ending lift points so they can touch the button on the app and immediately the myLIFTER knows when to stop when lifting and lowering items.
