MyDyer Announces First Refunds Issued In LuLaRoe's Customer-Friendly 'Make Good Program'
LONG BEACH, Calif., July 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- MyDyer, a manufacturer of stylish LuLaRoe clothing, announced today that refund checks were mailed this week to hundreds of people who submitted claims under LuLaRoe's 'Make Good Program.'
In an effort to show it stands behind its products, LuLaRoe launched a 'Make Good Program' that offered refunds or exchanges to anyone who purchased defective products from licensed LuLaRoe retailers between Jan. 1, 2016, and April 24, 2017. Claims under this program must be made before July 31.
The first set of refunds were issued on July 19 to about 75% of people who submitted claims. The company is reviewing the remaining claims because of discrepancies that require additional review and verification.
"The Make Good Program is evidence that LuLaRoe and MyDyer stand behind their products," said Dan Kang, Chief Executive Officer of MyDyer. "We constantly strive to ensure that our retailers and customers are completely satisfied with our products and customer service."
"For those people whose claims are under review, we will work with LuLaRoe to confirm and approve the returns," Mr. Kang said.
LuLaRoe has also implemented a "Happiness Policy," which applies to purchases after April 24. The policy allows customers to obtain refunds within 30 days of purchase from a licensed retailer if they are unhappy with the purchase for any reason. Exchanges are also available for any purchases made within the first 90 days of purchase.
