MyComputerCareer.edu Partnered with Military Makeover to Transform a Gold Star Family's Home
MyComputerCareer joined forces with Military Makeover to surprise a Gold Star Army Veteran's family with a complete home transformation.
RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- MyComputerCareer volunteers have just returned from teaming up with Military Makeover. In just under a week, with the help of dedicated teams and passionate volunteers, this Gold Star family's home was completely transformed.
Series hosts Art Edmonds and R. Lee Ermey, aka "The Gunny", famed actor and retired U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sergeant, enlisted the help of decorators, designers, landscapers and other experts to change the living situation and the lives of a deserving family. This family was the 13th family that Military Makeover has honored.
MyComputerCareer is one of the experts that the show called upon. They are a nationally accredited school that offers Information Technology Programs for all experience levels. MyComputerCareer was approached to participate as Military Makeover's educational partner and was thrilled for the opportunity to give back to those that have given so much. "Veterans have served our country with honor and we are proud to provide them with support and opportunities," says Tony Galati, CEO of MyComputerCareer. "We feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to give back when and where we can."
The three-part series will air in March of this year on The Lifetime Network, where the family and their home transformation will be revealed.
