My Cancer Centers: New Therapy for Lung Cancer Claims 83% Success
CARMEL, Ind., Dec. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- For over a month, Richard Webber experienced a dry cough when he went to bed at night. When he finally saw his doctor, his scan report showed several small lesions in his right lung. At the appointment with his oncologist, he was offered chemotherapy, radiation and a dismal prognosis. And, according to the Medical Tourism Association, he became one of half a million Americans looking for alternatives to standard treatment.
In 2011, the last year statistics are available, 207,399 Americans were diagnosed with lung cancer and 156,953 died from lung cancer. Symptoms include persistent cough, weight loss, fluid around the lungs, coughing up blood, loss of appetite, chest pain and fatigue.
Webber's doctor ordered a chest X-ray, bone scan, CT scan, bloodwork and a biopsy. Standard treatment for lung cancer in the US is surgery, chemo and radiation. The 5 year survival rate with these treatments is around 16.8%.
Because the prognosis was so grim, Webber began researching other options, and found many promising articles touting SonoPhoto Dynamic Therapy as the single most effective treatment for early stage lung cancer. According to a collection of scientific studies provided by the Dove Clinic in Australia, SPDT has an 83% total response rate in early stage lung cancer, and there are no side effects.
SPDT patients are given a natural chlorophyll sensitizer, administered orally. All cells in the body absorb the sensitizer, especially cancer cells. After a 48 hour period, normal cells wash the sensitizer away. Cancer cells are unable to expel the substance, so the chlorophyll remains only in the cancer cells. Next doctors pulse sound (Sono) and light (Photo) frequencies through the body. When sound and light hit the chlorophyll, it causes a chemical reaction called photosynthesis, which explodes free radical oxygen into the cancer cells, destroying the cell. Normal cells are not affected, so there are no side effects. The treatment is painless and non-invasive. The treatment is usually done over a two to four week period, along with other immune boosting and detox therapies.
SPDT has been used in China, Germany, Australia and Mexico for decades. During his research, Webber discovered that this therapy is offered at only one clinic in the United States. Webber contacted Dr. Clifford Fetters, medical director at My Cancer Centers near Indianapolis, Indiana. Within a week he was in treatment, and a month later, the lung lesions had disappeared.
According to Fetters, some state medical boards have the authority to authorize non-FDA approved treatments for use in their state. His clinic won approval to use SPDT by the Indiana State Medical Board. Fetters says SPDT is especially effective on prostate, lung, breast, esophageal, gastric and skin cancers. "We offer a comprehensive treatment program for all cancers, and many of our patients are experiencing complete remission without side effects," Fetters stated.
