MWW Hires Conde Nast's Shannon Eis As SVP, Corporate Communications
Corporate Reputation and Executive Eminence Expert Joins MWW Following Senior Posts at Conde Nast, Kaplow and the Toy Industry Association
NEW YORK, Jan. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MWW (www.mww.com), one of the top-ten global independent public relations firms, announced today that Shannon Eis has joined MWW as senior vice president, corporate communications. She will play a key role in guiding corporate reputation, crisis management and executive eminence programs for some of the firm's top clients. A recognized expert in corporate reputation, executive eminence and crisis communications, Eis most recently led internal and executive communications at Conde Nast, the global publisher of many of the world's leading media brands.
Eis brings more than a decade of experience as a media spokesperson and on-air expert, including many years with CBS Network. Her work in strategic communications and in-depth media expertise has benefited many industry-leading brands by notably strengthening their position and perceptions in the marketplace.
In addition to her role at MWW, Eis will continue to serve as an on-air contributor for the "Late Show with David Letterman" as their play expert, as well as other media outlets, print, digital and broadcast, where she discusses important parenting topics, children's issues and trends. An experienced writer in both consumer and business channels, she has driven awareness of key issues, and thought leadership platforms for the brands she's supported.

Previously, Eis spent seven years at Kaplow Communications as senior vice president where she headed the corporate communications practice group, supporting brands including American Express, Timex Corporation, LeapFrog Enterprises, GSI Commerce and others. She has also served as communications lead for the Toy Industry Association, the toy industry's trade and regulatory group, and has held other in-house positions at Workshare Technology, a software development company, and Hilton Worldwide.
Eis will be based in MWW's New York office. She holds a bachelor of arts from Florida State University.
