The invitation-only event will feature a panel discussion examining sustainable leadership in rapidly changing times. As panel moderator, MWW Group President and CEO Michael W. The sustainable leadership panel will take place during the 2010 World Business Forum on Tuesday, October 5 (12:30pm to 2:00pm) in the Time Inc. building at 1271 Avenue of the Americas, Room 2-61 – just across the street from the World Business Forum's main site at Radio City Music Hall. The panelists will include:
- David Gergen – In addition to his role as editor-at-large at U.S. News and World Report, Gergen is a senior political analyst for CNN and has served as an adviser to four U.S. presidents. He is a professor of public service at the Harvard Kennedy School and the director of its Center for Public Leadership. In 2000, he published the best-selling book, Eyewitness to Power: The Essence of Leadership, Nixon to Clinton.
- Jim Quigley – Throughout his 36 years with Deloitte, where he currently serves as CEO, Quigley has taken on a number of leadership roles and built a distinguished track record of service to many multinational clients. Additionally, he is U.S. co-chairman of the TransAtlantic Business Dialogue (TABD) and a member of the board of trustees of the U.S. Council for International Business (USCIB). Quigley is also a member of the Council on Competitiveness and serves on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Advisory Committee on Improvements to Financial Reporting (CIFiR).
- Arkadi Kuhlmann – Affectionately referred to as "The CEO of Savings," Kuhlmann is the Chairman and President of ING DIRECT USA, the retail bank that offers simple financial products direct to consumers over the telephone and Internet. Under Kuhlmann's leadership, ING DIRECT has grown to become the country's largest savings bank with more than $90 billion in assets, and has led more than 7.7 million customers back to saving money.
- Michael W. Kempner – In addition to serving as the founder, President and CEO of MWW Group, Kempner plays an active role in the management of many individual accounts.
