MWW Group Names Former Speechwriter to President Bill Clinton and Governor Andrew Cuomo, Traci E. Carpenter, as Director of Speechwriting and Content
Senior Speechwriter Brings Experience in Speechwriting and Content Development for Political, Nonprofit, and Corporate Leaders

Carpenter has joined the agency as Director of Speechwriting and Content. Carpenter brings extensive experience in speechwriting, strategic messaging and content development to the firm, previously serving as a senior speechwriter for President Bill Clinton and Governor Andrew Cuomo.
In this new position, Carpenter will support MWW Group's executive communications across all offices and practice groups. Carpenter will oversee the development of speeches, op-eds, blogs, and other content for MWW Group's corporate and consumer clients, both online and through traditional media channels.

Carpenter comes to MWW most recently from the office of New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo. Previously, Carpenter served as senior speechwriter for the Office of President Bill Clinton and the William J. Clinton Foundation, where she directed former President Bill Clinton's speechwriting process, composing hundreds of talking points, remarks, statements, blog posts and other correspondence. She also provided strategic messaging and content development to advance the mission of the Foundation's various initiatives, including the Clinton Global Initiative.
Carpenter began her political career at the office of then-Michigan Governor Jennifer M. Granholm, and later served as a chief writer on Granholm's 2006 re-election campaign. She has also been published as a freelance reporter at Newsweek, writing columns focused on youth and political issues surrounding the 2004 presidential election.
Carpenter holds a bachelor's degree with honors in journalism at Michigan State University.
