SOUTH BEND, Ind., Jan. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Mobility Ventures LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of AM General, today announced the appointment of five members to its domestic and international sales staff – Steve Barker, Edward Cayer, Pam Kulhanek, Terry Bland and Robert Legacy.

Steve Barker, Director of Sales and Operations: Mr. Barker joins Mobility Ventures with more than 25 years of experience in the transportation industry, to include heavy-duty trucking, school and commercial bus and mobility markets. He was the former Executive Vice President of Sales for the Vehicle Production Group (VPG). Prior to that, Barker spent more than 11 years with Sure-Lok, Inc., a leader in the wheelchair securement industry, as the Southeast regional sales manager and then Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) business development manager. Barker has been a member of numerous national and state transportation committees, and is considered an industry expert in wheelchair securement, having trained and certified thousands of drivers across the country.
Edward Cayer, Northeast Sales and Operations: Mr. Cayer brings more than 35 years of experience in the mobility industry. Cayer, an Air Force veteran, began his career in the mobility industry by customizing wheelchair accessible vehicles and working in the commercial bus industry. Prior to joining Mobility Ventures, Cayer was a Regional Sales Manager with VPG.
Pam Kulhanek, Central Regional Sales and Operations: Ms. Kulhanek brings to Mobility Ventures a strong sales background in the transit industry. She has worked side by side with large transit dealers and many Department of Transportation directors throughout the United States and Canada. Kulhanek has proven herself in the industry with increased sales production as well as assisting in engineering and development of new products to improve safety capabilities in the transit industry. She has been recognized for building strong relationships with dealers, end user customers, directors of state contracts, and other OEM manufacturer representatives.
Terry Bland, Southwest Regional Sales and Operations: Mr. Bland joins Mobility Ventures with more than 31 years of experience in the mobile medical and transit industries. Bland has specialized in the sales of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant mobile transit vehicles as well as the design and sales of blood donor and medical vehicles. Throughout his career, Bland has been involved with numerous large fleet and multi-million dollar procurement projects within the transit industry.
Robert Legacy, International Business Development and Special Projects: Mr. Legacy brings extensive experience in the OEM automotive and commercial vehicle industry having spent 32 years collectively with General Motors, Delphi and VPG. Throughout his career in the automotive industry, Legacy has held positions of increasing levels of responsibility in manufacturing, labor relations, sales management, marketing, aftermarket and specialty vehicle sales, OEM commercial vehicle and Agri-business component sales, as well as program and project management.
