AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 3, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- The nation's largest mobile app development firm has recently secured office space in San Francisco's downtown financial district. Mutual Mobile currently employs over 80 people at their Austin headquarters and has now taken steps to further their expansion westward. During the first quarter of 2011 Mutual Mobile expects hiring 35 to 40 San Franciscan developers, designers, and marketers to support their Bay Area presence.
"As a 100% bootstrapped company, we've been careful to grow smartly. So many of our clients and partners are located in and around San Francisco, that having an office here was really a no-brainer," says Mutual Mobile's 23-year-old CEO John Arrow. "We're incredibly excited about integrating more deeply with the Bay Area's technology community."
What began as an iPhone app development shop has evolved into a full-service mobile consulting and marketing agency, winning contracts to produce flagship cross-platform mobile apps for StumbleUpon, Del Monte, Audi and Google. The Austin-based tech startup has also introduced a suite of mobile middleware products aimed at helping companies manage their growing IT management needs related to mobile.
In addition to partnering with household names, Mutual Mobile has made a deliberate effort to build solutions across a wide array of industry verticals, such as banking, travel, education, events, healthcare, and mCommerce. Those with relevant mobile industry experience should apply to [email protected] or [email protected], respectively.
