Mutual Federal Bank Announces Opening of New Branch in Naperville, Illinois
CHICAGO, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Mutual Federal Bank announced today that its new temporary branch facility at 2695 Forgue Drive in Naperville, Illinois has been completed and will open for business on August 16, 2010. As was previously announced, the branch will operate under the name Great American Bank and will be headed by Harry Katz and Supriyo Roy, two experienced Chicago-area bankers formerly with GreatBanc, Inc. Plans call for a new permanent facility at the southeast corner of Route 59 and Leverenz Road in Naperville to be completed in 2011. In order to support the growth of the reorganization, on July 20, 2010, the board of directors of the bank's parent company, Mutual Federal Bancorp, Inc., suspended the company's quarterly dividend on its common stock until further notice.
