Mutual 1st Federal Invites Omaha Residents to Get Rid of Clutter with Community Shredding Event

OMAHA, Neb., Oct. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- GOBankingRates client Mutual 1st Federal Credit Union is partnering with the Millard Lions Club to host a community paper shredding event, helping Omaha residents get rid of unwanted clutter. In celebration of International Credit Union Day (Oct. 16), Mutual 1^st Federal is offering both members and non-members the opportunity to securely dispose of sensitive documents at its F Street branch Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Additional details about the paper shredding event:

Shredding will take place at 14510 F Street.
Limit of three boxes of documents per vehicle.
All types of paper are acceptable for shredding, including bills, bank statements and other personal documents.
Mutual 1^st Federal will also be collecting gently used prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses, as well as boxes and cans of food.
