Mushroom Networks Adds VoIP Armor™ to its Value Added Reseller (VAR) Program
VoIP Armor, Mushroom Networks' new VoIP performance management technology, is now available to resellers across the globe
SAN DIEGO, Nov. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Mushroom Networks, Inc., innovators of Broadband Bonding™ technology, announced today it has added VoIP Armor to its Gold Value Added Resellers (Gold VAR) program. This enables authorized partners, both U.S. and international, to resell VoIP Armor, which significantly enhances the voice quality and reliability of calls made using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
Businesses are interested in utilizing VoIP in their branch offices and remote workers because of the inherent cost savings. But they are concerned with VoIP's inconsistent voice quality and unreliability. Managed service providers (MSPs) and resellers today need technologies like VoIP Armor to provide customers with reliable yet cost-effective communications, and VoIP Armor delivers exactly that. The technology directly addresses and solves performance and reliability problems by creating a bonded IP tunnel that adds redundancy and protects against any negative network conditions such as starvation, loss, latency and jitter.
VoIP Armor, available as a VoIP gateway, is also available as an add-on module for Mushroom Networks' patented, Broadband Bonding solutions, which aggregate and intelligently orchestrate multiple Internet access lines. The aggregation over the Internet lines is done even for a single session, providing the full speed of the lines combined. VoIP Armor shields the VoIP traffic against any type of WAN link performance fluctuations and link failures. The technology relies on two or more Broadband Bonded Internet links to protect the VoIP packets against loss, delay and jitter as well as against starvation from other cross traffic. The end result is that VoIP calls are highly reliable and consistent in call quality. VoIP Armor also boosts simultaneous call capacity because of the increased WAN bandwidth of the bonded Internet lines.
As part of the Gold VAR program, Mushroom Networks offers remote online demonstrations of VoIP Armor and full technical support to resellers and their clients before negotiations or purchase. By working closely with reseller partners every step of the way, Mushroom Networks looks to quickly expand VoIP Armor into new markets.
"Companies want to take advantage of VoIP systems such as IP-PBX, but are wary because they are prone to dropped calls, lower voice quality or simply too inconsistent to be relied upon as effective audio communication," said Cahit Akin, CEO of Mushroom Networks. "By adding VoIP Armor to our VAR program, resellers now have a best-in-class offering that fixes these problems and gives their customers a high-speed and redundant connection that leverages readily available, low-cost broadband."
With the addition on VoIP Armor, Mushroom Networks' Gold VAR program now covers the company's complete line of products. Currently Mushroom Networks has more than 500 reseller partners around the world including North America, South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
