ART AND ACTIVISM
This Sunday, January 24, artist Mierle Laderman Ukeles invites the public to commit to a single act of social justice and contribute to an art project called A Day of Transfer and Exchange. Eighty-seven (87) museum visitors and countless online participants will do their part to help "repair the world." Upon completion of an elaborate ceremony with the artist held at 12 noon and 3pm, museum visitors will leave with their own double-sided mirrors, which act as physical reminders to uphold their commitments.
