FORMAT: B-roll and Soundbites
STORY SUMMARY:
In celebration of Earth Month 2011 and its Global Earth Initiatives, Origins - the skin care brand that is powered by nature and proven by science – is partnering with the three-time Grammy Award-winning band Train to host its second annual Origins Rocks Earth Month™ concert at Webster Hall in New York City on April 20, 2011. The concert will include a performance by emerging singer-songwriter Nikki Jean. Origins and Train fans received their free concert tickets in exchange for their personal "Earth Pledge" on how they will be more environmentally proactive. Origins will plant a tree on behalf of every concert attendee through its partner American Forests' Global Releaf™.
Given the tremendous consumer interest in the inaugural Origins Rocks Earth Month™ celebration in 2010, Origins will also live stream and rebroadcast this year's concert in an effort to extend the celebration globally and raise environmental awareness around the world. The concert will be broadcast live on www.origins.com/liveconcert beginning at 8:00 pm EDT on April 20. It is also rebroadcasting on April 21 at 7 am EDT and 2 pm EDT on www.origins.com/liveconcert. Origins has partnered with MOG, the industry-leading online, on-demand music listening service and music blogging hub to bring Train's performance live to the web for an international audience. Additional trees will be planted on behalf of live stream viewers.
