Thor Bucy, based in New York City, comes to True's Technical Officers Practice from Riviera Partners and is focused on CxO and VP level searches in data, engineering, operations, security and product. Before his career in search, Thor managed engineering teams for Thomson Reuters. He earned his undergrad degree at the University of Nebraska and an MBA at Arizona State University.
With more than a decade of search experience, Jennifer DeCastro joins True from Korn Ferry bringing a deep knowledge and passion for talent advisement and recruitment. Joining the Digital Transformation Practice, she focuses on Presidents, C-suite, Vice Presidents and Directors in the digital, media, and marketing industries. Jennifer is based in New York and her clients include mid-cap growth, public and private equity-backed companies along with Fortune 500 enterprises. Jennifer specializes in advising companies through digital transformation with clients across a diverse set of industries. Jennifer graduated with honors from Dickinson College.
Ryan Hall joins True's VC Practice as the newest partner to the firm's San Francisco office. Ryan will focus on recruiting C-suite and VP-level executives to some of the hottest enterprise software and consumer technology companies in the country. Having spent 7 years at Daversa Partners, Ryan is a trusted partner to many entrepreneurs and venture capitalists who rely on him to attract top talent. Ryan graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Business Management and Marketing.
Barry Wahlberg, formerly of Korn Ferry, joins True as a partner with more than 10 years' experience in executive search, sales and marketing. Within True's PE Practice, Barry focuses on C-suite searches for public and hyper growth private equity-backed B2B software companies. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Harvard University and is based in the Washington D.C. metro area.
