Filmed during the critically-acclaimed Symphonicity world tour, Live in Berlin features Sting, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, conducted by Steven Mercurio, performing many of his greatest hits, including "Roxanne," "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic," "King Of Pain," "Fields Of Gold," and more, all re-imagined for symphonic arrangement. Featuring special guest Branford Marsalis on select tracks, this live concert experience is quintessential Symphonicity.
Composer, singer, author, actor, activist – Sting has won universal acclaim in all of these roles yet he continues to defy easy labeling. He first achieved international success as a member of The Police along with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers. The band released five albums and earned six Grammy awards and in 2003, was inducted in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Sting has evolved into one of the world's most distinctive and highly respected performers and has released 12 solo albums since 1985. Also a member of the Songwriter's Hall of Fame, he has earned an additional 11 Grammys for his solo work, in addition to two Brits, a Golden Globe, an Emmy, and three Oscar nominations.
