MIAMI BEACH, Fla., July 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Rather than traveling for a special occasion, today's family is looking for transformative experiences that everyone can share. It's all about aspirational travel experiences with siblings, parents and grandparents. Multigenerational travel is booming with 55% of baby boomers traveling to spend time with family to create lasting memories.[1] Multigenerational travel, defined as taking a trip with three or more generations, has seen an increase in extended families traveling together over the last couple of years: 40% of travelers went on a multi-gen trip in the last 12 months.[2] Miami Beach has become a mecca for multi-gen travel with a diverse, fun and entertaining line-up of activities, events, restaurants and hotels that cater to all ages. Multi-gen families will have several hotel choices when booking a trip to Miami Beach. They include the Loews Miami Beach Hotel which is giving the entire family a chance to have a memorable getaway as the summer ends with their "Summer Like a Local" package. The package allows the whole family to pamper themselves with a $75 Resort credit, discounts at the Spa and the Cabana deck. In addition, kids can be registered at a discounted rate at the SoBe Kids Camp and eat free for the whole trip.

The famous Fontainebleau Miami Beach is offering its unique "Bleau Summer" package, aimed at the whole family. It provides guestroom upgrades, a $50 poolside credit and kids under 12 eat free.
