MTV Networks Digital Advertising Launches Pioneering Audience Targeting Capability Powered By Quantcast
Solution Offers Advertisers Focused Reach and Greater Impact across MTVN's Extensive Online Portfolio of Premium Content
NEW YORK, Feb. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- MTV Networks (MTVN), a division of Viacom International Inc., which is a subsidiary of Viacom Inc. (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), today announced it will offer advertisers industry-leading audience targeting capabilities on sites in MTVN's domestic online portfolio, including MTV.com, VH1.com, ComedyCentral.com and Spike.com, as well as on partner sites in the company's Tribes vertical ad network. Powered by Quantcast, MTVN advertisers can now target video and display activity at the impression level based on audience criteria, enabling improved delivery of targets such as "Moms with Kids" or "High Income Men." These capabilities significantly increase advertisers' ability to effectively reach their most relevant consumers. MTVN is among the first premium publishers to offer this level of targeting through the Quantcast Media Program on premium video content online.
The strength and differentiation of MTVN's Audience Targeting offering comes from its ability to help advertisers reach targeted audience segments at a meaningful scale while they are engaging with high-quality, professionally-produced content. MTVN has over 200 owned-and-operated domestic Web sites and more than 240 Tribes publishers. MTV Networks Digital delivered an average of 84 million unique users in January 2010, according to Quantcast.
