MTA SpA Chooses QNX for In-Car Infotainment Systems
First production systems, including digital instrument clusters, scheduled for deployment in early 2011
OTTAWA, Nov. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- QNX Software Systems today announced that MTA SpA has chosen the QNX® Neutrino® Realtime Operating System (RTOS) as the software platform for MTA's next-generation in-car infotainment systems.
The new systems will include digital instrument clusters and multimedia consoles for high-performance automobiles. The first production models are scheduled for deployment in early 2011.
Founded in 1954, MTA is an international supplier of electronic and electromechanical components for Aprilia, Ducati, BMW Motorrad, Ferrari, Fiat, Fisker, GM, Lamborghini, Lotus, Maserati, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Saab, Tata, Volkswagen, and other automotive and motorcycle manufacturers.
