MSC Strengthens Clinical Expertise with Addition of Regional Clinical Specialists

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Jan. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MSC, a leader in care management solutions serving post-injury workers' compensation patients, further fortifies its clinical foundation and expertise with the hiring of additional Regional Clinical Specialists. This newly created position further enhances the MSC offering in Catastrophic Care by partnering with nurse case managers, adjusters and discharge planners, providing a clinical expert as a resource to educate and assist customers in achieving our mutual goals of helping the injured worker.

As nurse case managers monitor the progress of injured workers and serve as intermediaries among involved parties, MSC clinical specialists will be available to provide guidance and support regarding the ancillary services that will best contribute to a return to an optimal level of work and functioning. Providing an expert clinical viewpoint, the MSC clinical specialist can serve as a true resource to those directly managing workers' compensation patient needs.
