ABOUT MS. ALINE E. PRYOR

Ms. Pryor has over 22 years of legal experience.  In her private practice, she specializes in family law, protection from abuse/divorce/paternity/support and personal injury cases.  As an only child of both parents who were English teachers, Ms. Pryor was instilled with various ideals, morals and quotes, later serving her well as an attorney.  Some were: having the motivation "go on and achieve", that "nothing worth anything is free or without lots of effort", to "always work your hardest", to "appreciate the finer things in life", to "entertain one's self and be creative", that "discipline actually teaches one to be disciplined", to "become accustomed to speaking to people from all walks of life and that everyone has something to contribute or say – that no one is really better than anyone else" and that "being down-to-earth and real" is a good thing.  Ms. Pryor received a B.S. with Honors, from Emporia State University in 1983 and a J.D. from the University of Kansas in 1986.  She was admitted to the Kansas/U.S. District Courts, District of Kansas in 1986.  She is a member of the Johnson County Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, Kansas Association for Justice and the National Association of Professional Women, and former Member of the Board of Governors, former Treasurer, former Vice President and former President-Wyandotte County Bar Association.  Ms. Pryor currently resides in Overland Park, Kansas, with her husband of 22 years, George, where she enjoys gardening and sports.
