John Barsa Named Vice President to Represent MRIGlobal in Washington, D.C.
KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- MRIGlobal today announced that John Barsa has joined the organization as Vice President of Government Relations.
Barsa, formerly a consultant in private practice and principal of Barsa Strategies, joins MRIGlobal effective August 27, 2012. He will be based in Washington, D.C., with responsibility for expanding MRIGlobal's presence in government business areas.
Barsa previously worked as the Director, Public Liaison, in the Department of Homeland Security, as well as in Business Development for General Dynamics, and in Intergovernmental Relations for Battelle Memorial Institute. He formerly worked on Capitol Hill as a lobbyist for the Aerospace Industries Association and as a congressional Press Secretary.

Barsa has a degree in International Relations from Florida International University in Miami; he also has attended Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and George Washington University's Elliot School of International Affairs.
