MPP Partner Elizabeth England Named Chair of State Bar of California Litigation Section

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Morris Polich & Purdy LLP is pleased to announce that Elizabeth England, a Partner of the firm, has been named Chair of the Litigation Section of the State Bar of California. Ms. England has served as Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice-Chair of the Section over the three years immediately preceding her recent election by the Section's fifteen-member Executive Committee, of which she has been a member since 2004.

The State Bar of California Litigation Section has approximately 10,000 members, and is comprised of numerous Standing Committees such as Alternative Dispute Resolution, California Legislation Review, Education, Jury Instructions, as well as Rules and Legislation. The responsibilities of the Section Chair include planning the Section's budget, as well as holding and running Executive Committee meetings in which members plan upcoming events, provide updates on Section publications, and discuss changes that affect all areas of litigation on a state-wide level.
