Mozaik Offers Solutions for Changing Consumer Preferences
SAYREVILLE, N.J., June 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sabert Corporation, a leading manufacturer of premium disposable plastic products, offers a solution for the shift in consumer dining preferences.
According to a survey released in May by The Harris Poll, "Seven in 10 Americans say they are cooking more instead of going out, in an effort to save money. 57 percent of consumers agree that going out for dinner is now a luxury, compared to their previous dining preferences."
Due to constrained budgets, recession-weary consumers are replacing the convenience of eating out and are making more time to cook at home. While this shift helps lift the burden on their budgets, consumers still seek affordable, convenient, time-saving solutions (Mozaik In-Home Entertaining A&U Study, 2012).
Sabert's Mozaik line of products offers just that. Launched in 2009, Mozaik is a line of disposable, upscale tableware that enables consumers to entertain more often, with less stress, and the right amount of style. It includes plates, bowls, platters, serving utensils, cutlery and mini appetizerware.
"Our research has indicated that consumers lack a disposable tableware option that they can be proud of when entertaining friends or family," says Don Stohrer, Jr., Senior Product Manager. "Mozaik is a better, more convenient way to entertain with style!"
More and more consumers are recognizing the benefit of Mozaik versus the typical disposable offering. According to a report released by IRI on Total U.S. Food Sales (52 weeks ending April 2012), Mozaik is up 138% in dollar sales from last year, making it the fastest growing brand in its category.
Sabert is a global supplier, with operations in the United States, Europe and Asia, of a broad range of short-life products, including catering platters and bowls, tableware and To-Go food packaging supplying the Foodservice, Supermarket, Food Processor and Consumer Markets.
