SAN FRANCISCO and LONDON, October 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
New President and VP of Global Alliances Adds Enterprise Expertise to Fast-Growing HR Technology Company
MOVE Guides, the leading provider of technology and support for global mobility, announced the appointment of technology executive Jim Drill as the company's first President and Don Caramanico as the company's first Vice President of Global Alliances, both based in San Francisco. Drill and Caramanico join a growing senior leadership team that spans North America, EMEA and APAC.
Drill brings 27 years of experience in enterprise software, most recently as the SVP of Worldwide Sales and Services at Lithium Technologies. As MOVE Guides' President, he will lead all go-to-market activity including marketing, sales, services, alliances and MOVE Guides' certified vendor marketplace and community.
"Companies spend $150bn moving talent each year and nearly 90% of them plan to increase their mobile employees in the next two years. Yet, today just 18% of global mobility programs meet expectations," said Drill. "MOVE Guides is tackling a large, underserved market that is critical to the success of companies in the 21st century."
Caramanico brings over 30 years of experience building and managing high performance sales organizations and sales channels at companies such as BMC Software, Dresdner Bank and LANtek. As the Vice President of Global Alliances, Caramanico will be responsible for building strategic partnerships across enterprise technology systems and key players in the global mobility industry.
"Global mobility sits at the heart of companies' talent strategy and uniquely touches many business areas like recruiting, talent management and finance," said MOVE Guides CEO, Brynne Herbert. "We're thrilled to have Jim and Don's experience added to our existing team and to have both of them on our journey to transform global mobility."
Venture capitalists have invested more than $800 million into HR tech start-ups in the first half of 2015, according to data from Dow Jones VentureSource. Earlier this month MOVE Guides announced a $15.6 million Series B round to accelerate growth and introduce new products to the market.
