Mouse On House Renames, Becomes TruPlace
Company Transitions to TruPlace, Maintains Focus On Service and Technology
GERMANTOWN, Md., Aug. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- With advancements in mobile technology and an increase in growth beyond residential sales and vacation rentals, the interactive floor plan and professional photography company, Mouse On House, has become TruPlace. The renaming took effect Tuesday, August 27, 2013.
"For ten years we have been providing our clients with services geared towards making their lives less stressful and more successful," says Suzi Cusack, Vice President and part-owner. "But as we focus on our growth and expansion, we realized our Mouse On House name was holding us back from establishing a national brand."
The signature service of Mouse On House, the interactive virtual floor plan, started as a tool for property management companies and real estate agents looking to generate online exposure for their properties. As awareness of the company spread, more places wanted to utilize the service, including: commercial properties and conference centers.
"The name Mouse On House is very literal," adds Cusack. "You literally 'mouse over the house' to interact with the floor plan. For commercial properties, the word 'house' doesn't fit and the 'mouse' isn't relevant as more people begin utilizing their smartphones to view the tour."
Apart from the new name, customers can expect a continued focus on efficient and effective services. With a dedicated team, TruPlace will maintain the same core values and mission as Mouse On House in not only the DC Metro area but in the newly-expanded markets, including Orlando, FL and Philadelphia, PA.
"We're really excited about our name change," Cusack says. "It will help facilitate our growth as a national brand."
