Mountains, Food, Football, Art and Beer? It Must be Labor Day Weekend In Denver
DENVER, Aug. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- One of the best ways to celebrate Labor Day Weekend in The Mile High City is at the top of the continent – 14,264 feet high to be exact. The road up Mount Evans, the highest paved auto road in North America, starts 47 miles west of Denver and twists and turns as it snakes its way through five climate zones to the summit. Originally built by the City of Denver as a tourist attraction, the road is operated today by the U.S. Forest Service and stays open as long as weather and snow conditions permit. That means in some years, Labor Day is the last weekend the road is open to the top.

Denver brews more beer than any other city in America with more than 200 beers brewed every day.
So grab a pint and a seat on an outdoor patio, and take advantage of some great hotel deals at Denver's best properties and plan a Mile High Labor Day Weekend.
