Mount Airy Casino Resort Announces Official Test Day Charity Beneficiaries
Sunday July 11th Test Day Gaming Open To The Public
MOUNT POCONO, Pa., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Lisa DeNaples, Mount Airy Casino Resort's owner and managing trustee, today announced that Friendship House and St. Joseph's Center have been designated recipients of the table games test day proceeds. Open to the public, Mount Airy Casino Resort's test session will be held Sunday, July 11th from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with maximum test night bets capped at $5.
"Our family has always held children's charities very near to our hearts," explained Dr. DeNaples. "My parents have 14 grandchildren and they've always felt the need to help those less fortunate. I also have a nephew with autism so we are familiar with the challenges that families with a special needs child face. The assistance both these charities provide the public is beyond measure," added Dr. DeNaples.
Dr. DeNaples' parents, Betty Ann and Louis DeNaples, have both been dedicated to each of the charities for decades. Mrs. DeNaples currently serves on the board of the Friendship House while Mr. DeNaples formerly served on the board of Immaculate House of Mary, St. Joseph's Center.
The historic launch of table games will open with a ribbon cutting Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., pending approval from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. The public is invited to join in the festivities including commemorative giveaways, in addition to contests and the ceremonial first throwing of the dice. The first 3,000 guests attending the opening will receive Mount Airy Casio Resort t-shirts
