Mother's Day Parade Brings Joy to Residents at Watercrest St. Lucie West Assisted Living and Memory Care Community

Watercrest St. Lucie West implemented strict limitations on visitation the past few months to protect the health and safety of residents and associates amidst the COVID-19 crisis. Many family members and loved ones have been separated for more than two months, and so the Watercrest team thoughtfully created an opportunity for connection.

The Mother's Day Car Parade was a spectacular success at Watercrest St. Lucie West Assisted Living and Memory Care in St. Lucie, Fl. Over 40 decorated vehicles cruised by the residents as family and friends shared their messages of love and well wishes for Mother's Day.

On Mother's Day, more than 40 vehicles lined up for the wildly successful Watercrest St. Lucie West Mother's Day Parade. Residents safely distanced themselves along the balloon-filled walkways as their friends and loved ones cruised by in cars decorated with balloons, streamers, and signs of love and well wishes to all of the mothers. Residents received flowers, candy and gifts, while enjoying refreshments and the cheerful music from a visiting harpist.
