Mortgage Contracting Services Names Robert Colbeck New Chief Technology Officer

PLANO, Texas, Dec. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Mortgage Contracting Services, a nationwide provider of property preservation, inspections and REO property maintenance to the financial services industry, has named Robert Colbeck as the company's chief technology officer.

Mr. Colbeck has been with MCS since 2004. He provides more than 18 years of information technology experience, including his work as one of the original architects of MCS360, the company's web-based technology portal. MCS360 was created in response to the industry's need for multi-tier communications software and real-time delivery of work order results.

In addition to leading the company's software development team, Mr. Colbeck has been instrumental in overseeing multiple MCS sites and data centers, allowing the company to achieve true data-redundancy and disaster-recovery capabilities for clients. In his new position, Mr. Colbeck will supervise all strategic technology initiatives and enhancements to help MCS remain on the technological forefront of the field services industry.

At Franklin Templeton, he also supported business and systems analysis and design, database design, and administration initiatives. He has held similar roles for GTE, Tech Data Corporation, DIMAC Direct Inc. and LeGrand Computer Services. Mr. Colbeck is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator. He served in the U.S. Navy for five years and received an Associate of Arts in management information systems from Pensacola College in Florida.
