Morgan James Publishing Challenges Readers to Change With Their New Book "CHANGE: If I Can, You Can: Changing for the Better in You"
NEW YORK, Dec. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Morgan James Publishing's (www.Morgan-James.com) new release "CHANGE: If I Can, You Can: Changing for the Better in You" inspires readers to fight for victory in their trials, make improvements in their communities, and become honorable men and women.
"Dilemmas. Hang-ups. Uncertainties. Angry lists. We all have them, and we have to face them and deal with them head on," said Travis Angry. His journey towards becoming a man of honor was fraught with trials, some that life threw at him, others that he created for himself. Angry was raised by parents who loved him enough to discipline him, and loved him enough to love each other first. However, as a youth, Angry struggled to find his purpose in life and not compare his accomplishments to others.
He experienced depression and low self-esteem, and eventually dropped out of school, started hanging out with the wrong crowd, and was eventually arrested and imprisoned for a crime that he didn't commit. After being released, Angry knew he needed to start making a change in his life. Angry realized that "the biggest key to being successful is to not feel ashamed or devalued."
He decided to leave his hometown and embark on a career, first in the music and entertainment industry then in the Navy. There, he learned discipline and developed pride in himself. Angry then faced the first of many medical trials, including Hodgkin's disease. It was at this time, following a weekend retreat, that Angry was inspired to dedicate his life to becoming an honorable man.
Angry penned the phrase "CHANGE: If I Can, You Can" while he was in the hospital for treatment for Hodgkin's disease. After his first remission and after becoming a single father, Angry saw a need in his community for a positive, loving, responsible commitment to youth.
"CHANGE: If I Can, You Can" inspires the youth culture to reach their aspirations through love, support, discipline, and positive examples. In this powerful memoir, Angry glorifies God for giving him the strength and fearlessness to rise above his situations and make good decisions for his life. Angry empowers America's youth to find their passion and let it fuel their purpose in life.
