More Wild Critters, More Accessible Poems In 'NEIGHBORS™ TOO', Just Released
NEW YORK, Jan. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Poet George Held and children's book artist Joung Un Kim have collaborated on a second picture book for children, Neighbors™ The Yard Critters TOO. It refers to other animals one finds in a suburban yard, a country landscape, or a city street. The sturdy, museum-quality, and lavishly illustrated book is 12"x12" and can easily be shared by parents and children, as well as librarians and educators eager to explore poetry and nature with their young students.

GEORGE HELD, a seven-time Pushcart Prize nominee, has published sixteen poetry collections. Other work appears in such publications as Notre Dame Review and The Writer's Almanac (Garrison Keillor). Educated at Brown, University of Hawai'i, and Rutgers, he was a Fulbright lecturer, and former professor at Queens College, CUNY.
