Since 2008, Apex Learning has frequently been selected as the provider of online courses by schools and districts that want to ensure their student-athletes meet NCAA initial-eligibility requirements to compete in college.
"We often hear questions from our district partners about whether online courses meet the NCAA initial-eligibility requirements," said Cheryl Vedoe, CEO of Apex Learning. "It is a priority for us to ensure our distance learning program (through the Apex Learning Virtual School) and our online courses are approved by NCAA."
Schools that implement Apex Learning online courses may apply to the NCAA Eligibility Center to receive approval for their programs.
For a full list of the approved Apex Learning courses, visit the NCAA website and enter Apex Learning as the school name: https://web1.ncaa.org/hsportal/exec/hsAction?hsActionSubmit=searchHighSchool.
