More Support for Lung Cancer Legislation in Lung Cancer Awareness Month
SENDS MESSAGE OF HOPE TO LUNG CANCER COMMUNITY
WASHINGTON, Nov. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, Lung Cancer Alliance (LCA) announced even more additions to the growing national network of support for federal action on lung cancer. Backing covers a broad spectrum of interests, ranging from congressional support on Capitol Hill to national medical and international research organizations, to veterans and labor groups, and to public health advocates are now on record.
New additions joining this past month in support of the Lung Cancer Mortality Reduction Act, S. 752 and H.R. 1394, respectively, first-ever legislation calling for a coordinated and comprehensive federal plan to address all aspects of lung cancer include:
