More Data Added to Page Plus Cellular Plans

HOLLAND, Ohio, March 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Nationwide mobile service provider Page Plus Cellular today announced that it has improved two of its prepaid cell phone plans to provide more data usage, without raising its prices. Page Plus' top-tier plan, The 55, now provides double the amount of data it previously had – one gigabyte, increased from 500 megabytes. Meanwhile, Unlimited Talk n Text, the most popular Page Plus plan, now provides five times the amount of data as before – 100 MB compared to the previous 20 MB.

The 55 plan provides unlimited voice calls, unlimited text messages and now 1 GB of data for $55 per month. Unlimited Talk n Text also provides unlimited calling and texting, plus 100 MB of data for $39.95 per month.

"With unlimited calling and texting on both of these plans, the only area for improvement was the data allotments," said Denny Scher, Page Plus marketing manager. "Our customers are continually using more data, so adding more data to these plans, without increasing our pricing, reflects our commitment to giving our customers what they need. In addition to the nationwide coverage our wireless service provides, our plans now offer even more value to our customers."

Scher also explained that there is an option for adding even more data to these plans. "If customers run out of data before their plan renewal date, but they don't want to renew early because they still have voice minutes and texts available to use, they can add a cash balance to their account for more data usage. Adding $10 to their Unlimited Talk n Text plan, for example, gives them an additional 50 MB of data to use," he said. "Plus, the add-on data will roll over if it's not all used in the current month."
