Moore, Schulman & Moore, APC Partner Is Honored With Prestigious Vice Chair Post With The California State Bar's Family Law Commission
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Family law veteran David Schulman has been appointed to a term as the Vice Chair of the California State Bar's Family Law Commission set to start in the fall of 2015. Schulman will replace current Vice Chair Becky Rasmason and work with eight fellow advisors to assess applicants for legal specialization certification in California as well as draft and grade exams. Mr. Schulman will Chair the committee for the 2016-2017 session.
Mr. Schulman has demonstrated his commitment to State Bar by serving on the Family Law Commission for the past 3 years. In addition to representing adults in the various aspects of family law, he is one of the few attorneys appointed by the court to represent and act as minor's counsel.
Mr. Schulman's law career is marked by a number of accolades. The Daily Transcript honored him with the Top Attorney Award for the family law category in 2012. He was a finalist for the award in 2009. Mr. Schulman is also the recipient of the prestigious Family Court Judiciary's Norby Award. He has been named to the San Diego Super Lawyers list for the past six years.
