Real-Time Service Dashboard, Collaborative Team-Based Workflow, Algorithmic Clustering Engine (ACE) and Mobile version among new features showcased at AIOps Symposium, where Microsoft, SuccessFactors, GoDaddy and others discussed the transformational impact of algorithmic technology to modern enterprises.
SAN FRANCISCO, March 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Moogsoft, a leading provider of Algorithmic IT Operations (AIOps) technologies, today announced a series of significant platform releases alongside record growth results following its Series C financing in June 2016. In addition to its new AIOps platform, Moogsoft also announced marquee customer success, global expansions and key hires who will ensure Moogsoft's technology innovations remain at the forefront of the digital transformation occurring across enterprise businesses around the globe.
The Moogsoft AIOps™ platform has received major updates for enterprise IT Ops and DevOps use cases. By utilizing real-time machine learning algorithms, Moogsoft AIOps helps customers reduce operational noise, proactively detect service-impacting issues across their ecosystem, streamline collaboration and workflow across teams and toolsets, and codify knowledge for future re-use.
Specific new platform capabilities include a Real-Time Service Dashboard, Agile Workflows, Team Rooms, Kanban Boards and Global Search to help teams streamline their collaboration for service impacting incidents. A new Algorithmic Clustering Engine (ACE) has also been released, which allows event data to be correlated in real-time using an array of supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms. Additionally, this new version of Moogsoft AIOps will be available on mobile devices, allowing customers to quickly detect and resolve service-impacting issues regardless of physical location. These new features will be available to customers on April 12.
"In the modern enterprise, IT operations is a space that requires continual innovation," said Phil Tee, CEO and co-founder of Moogsoft. "We have released several new features based on customer feedback, which we value greatly. Moogsoft is continually working with our customers to develop new innovations that help businesses successfully transition to more intelligent and automated workflows by eliminating mundane operational tasks and freeing human beings up to do what they do best – ideate, create and innovate."
Customer Impact
Since the founding of Moogsoft in 2011, the company's mission has been to help enterprise customers achieve a higher quality of customer experience, become more agile and lower their cost of operations. Within the past nine months, Moogsoft's customer base has expanded across all business verticals spanning from digital entertainment to banking and government. Customers such as Intuit, Royal Bank of Canada, GoDaddy and SuccessFactors report an average reduction of IT alerts of more than 90 percent immediately after implementing Moogsoft AIOps. After GoDaddy migrated to Moogsoft, for example, the company experienced a 99 percent reduction in workload and 66 percent reduction in help desk calls.
Royal Bank of Canada's (RBC) year-old implementation of Moogsoft AIOPs also has resulted in a 35 percent reduction in Mean-Time-To-Detect (MTTD) and a 43 percent reduction in Mean-Time-To-Restore (MTTR). With the early detection that Moogsoft AIOps provides, RBC now delivers new product features in days, as opposed to weeks or months.
"SAP SuccessFactors has challenged itself to revolutionize the cloud experiences for the enterprise via our cFWD initiative," said Mike McGibbney, SVP Service Delivery & Operations at SAP SuccessFactors. "For the SAP SuccessFactors SDO team, part of this is ensuring a better cloud through highly reliable availability of the cloud environment. In order to best support our customers and significantly elevate our ability to deliver, we chose to partner with Moogsoft to take the seal of real-time operational data and turn it into real-time action to safeguard an uninterrupted cloud experience."
Company Expansion
In 2016, Moogsoft raised $30M in an oversubscribed Series C funding, was awarded five patents for their technology, on-boarded new resellers and strategic channel partners, and closed multiple seven-figure deals with enterprise customers across verticals. Moogsoft also released multiple new ecosystem integrations with leading companies such as AppDynamics, Splunk and New Relic. The company aggressively expanded operations into Europe, as well as deepened its reach in North America. To support this expansion, Moogsoft grew to more than 100 employees across the globe and made several additions to its executive suite including Bob Marshall, who joined as Vice President of engineering, Monique Ho, who joined as General Counsel, Matt Wilkinson, who joined as Vice President of Worldwide Services and Colin Gray, who joined as Vice President of Sales in EMEA.
