Mood Fabrics LA Opens Home Section in S. La Brea Store
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- In an effort to meet the growing needs of the Los Angeles home decor market, Mood Fabrics Los Angeles recently opened the home section of its store on S. La Brea Avenue. More than 10,000 square feet of retail space is dedicated to supplying interior designers, film and TV industry professionals, and consumers with the newest offerings in home fabrics and trims.
"Our goal is to provide the most on-trend, current home fabrics and trims available anywhere," said Philip Sauma, Mood Fabrics' owner. "Equally appealing to our customers is that we buy most of our home fabric directly from the mills, eliminating any third parties and allowing us to pass on the savings."
Located at 645 S. La Brea Avenue in one of LA's hottest shopping areas, Mood's new home section differs from other home fabric retailers in that it's not a showroom where fabric has to be ordered and then shipped. Huge bolts of fabric line the shelves at Mood and customers can leave the store with their fabric in tow. Home decor customers also have Mood's vast and renowned selection of designer fashion fabrics to choose from.
"Interior designers will appreciate the one-stop shopping Mood offers by having the latest in both home and fashion fabrics under one roof," notes Sauma. "They can shop in the home section for their upholstery and window treatment needs, but then easily select accent fabrics—like a gold brocade or a menswear wool—from the fashion section of the store." In total, Mood Fabrics LA boasts more than 20,000 square feet of retail space.
