Jim Jubak's commentary on MoneyShow.com wins award for best small Web site column
SARASOTA, Fla., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- MoneyShow.com, a multimedia online community for investors and traders, announced that Jim Jubak has won the Society of American Business Editors and Writers' 2009 Best in Business Award for small Web sites for columns that appeared on MoneyShow.com.
Jubak, senior markets editor on MoneyShow.com, writes two Jubak's Journal columns a week, posts blog entries every weekday, and does weekly video segments about the markets, the economy, and individual stocks he follows. His commentary runs concurrently on MSN Money, the investing portal run by Microsoft.

Jim Jubak was awarded a Knight-Bagehot fellowship in business journalism from Columbia University and has been in financial journalism for 25 years. He was editor of Venture magazine and senior editor at Worth magazine before joining MSN Money as senior markets editor in 1997. He has written three books, most recently The Jubak Picks, published by Crown Business.
The SABEW awards began in 1995 to recognize outstanding business journalism and help set standards. This year, there were 163 winners out of a total of 796 entries, the second highest entry total in the history of the contest. The awards will be presented Saturday, March 20 during SABEW's 47th annual conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
