MoneyGram and Fundación Azteca de Grupo Salinas Partner to Help Mexico Earthquake Relief Efforts
DALLAS, Sept. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As rescue and recovery efforts from the recent devastating earthquake in Mexico continue, MoneyGram (NASDAQ: MGI), Banco Azteca and Elektra announce a waiver on all transaction fees for donations made to Fundación Azteca de Grupo Salinas, a non-profit organization promoting awareness and social and environmental change through corporate social responsibility.
The fee waiver applies to all donations up to $249.99 per transaction sent between September 23 and November 30, 2017. Funds will help support the organization's efforts to provide shelter, supplies and other types of assistance to those in need.
