WARRENDALE, Pa. Feb. 4 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- About college engineering students; for college engineering students; and created – at least partially – by college engineering students.
These are the phrases that describe SAE International's new student magazine Momentum. Set to debut this month, Momentum will publish six times a year.
The magazine will be chock full of information geared specifically toward collegiate-level engineering students. Included will be:
- Profiles of students, collegiate chapters , and SAE International Collegiate Design Series teams
- Guides for undergraduate and graduate schools
- Career and continuing education tips
- Information on policies relevant to the industry and student life
- Company profiles
- University programs and industry-partnership research
- SAE International news
In addition, students will be able to contribute content through features and other technical articles.
"We saw the need for a magazine for SAE International's dynamic student membership community and wanted to create something that was unique," Kevin Jost, editorial director of SAE International, said. "We wanted to create a dynamic and interactive product that would provide the most value for collegiate engineering students. We feel that we have captured that with Momentum and the companion mobile and Web components in development."
Student members of SAE International will receive Momentum free of charge as part of their benefits package. Non-members of SAE International can subscribe to Momentum for a fee.
