Mom Trusted Launches Report to Inform Parents about Safety of Child Care Providers
Website's newest feature allows parents to download detailed reports to help them choose the best care center for their children
MENLO PARK, Calif., June 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MomTrusted.com, a site dedicated to helping parents find the perfect childcare provider, launched a feature that allows parents to download a detailed report of care providers' safety, accreditations and reviews.
"The MomTrusted Report is a detailed report that provides parents with a comprehensive analysis and score of the childcare or preschool center they are considering. The report takes 360-degree view of child care licensing, state daycare inspections, health and safety compliance, accreditations, teacher credentials, preschool ratings and parent reviews to help searching parents make a more informed decision," said Chaz Giles, co-founder and CEO of MomTrusted.com.
Giles created MomTrusted.com after he and his wife had their own problems finding childcare for their daughter. He hopes Mom Trusted's newest feature will place even more information into parents' hands to help them choose a child care option that's both safe and fits their needs. He also hopes the reports will help parents avoid tragedies such as the fire in Texas that killed four unattended children at a daycare center in February, 2011.
The detailed reports offer information including a care provider's number of violations, inspections and whether those inspections found the center or daycare in compliance with standards. They search for compliance issues in everything from criminal records to CPR certification. The Mom Trusted Reports are easy to read, listing simple "YES" and "NO" options to display if the center met compliance or not. They even scan the web for both positive and negative articles and reviews.
To access the report, parents either need to start a search on www.MomTrusted.com or go directly to get a report at www.MomTrusted.com/report.
"The ultimate goal is to help parents make a more informed decision about whom to entrust their child to," said Giles.
