Dr. Mohamed B. Jah is a Hospitalist, Geriatrician and Internist at Choctaw Health Center in Choctaw, Mississippi. The Choctaw Health Center is a 3 story 180,000 square foot healthcare facility that provides a full range of health and wellness services to their tribal population. It also operates 3 rural health clinics (Bogue Chitto, Conehatta, and Red Water) to meet the healthcare needs of tribal members residing in outlying communities. The newly completed Choctaw Health Center encompasses a 36-room outpatient department, an 18-chair dental department, six treatment rooms (two equipped for trauma), an emergency department, emergency medical services, various treatment facilities, behavioral health and public health services, along with all necessary support services. Their mission is to raise the health status of the Choctaw people to the highest level possible. Dr. Jah is responsible for basic patient care.
Dr. Jah was awarded America's Top Physicians in 2017, Top Doctor's Awards in 2017 and Hon DL in 2018. He received the IBC Lifetime Achievement Award, the Cambridge Key for Learning and Achievement in 2018. Leading Physician of the World from the International Association of Healthcare Professionals, 2015 th Edition, and Top Doctors Honors Edition, Trade Mark Who's Who in 2015 and 2017.

Born in Sierra Leone, Dr. Jah obtained a M.D. from Ain Shams University Medical School in Cairo, Egypt in 1985, a M.B.B.CH. in 1981 and M.CH. in General Surgery in 1986. He completed a formal 3-year residency program in Internal Medicine at G. W. Hubbard Hospital/Meharry Medical School in Nashville, Tennessee from November 1989-December 1993. He later completed an M.B.A. from Auburn University, Raymond J. Harbert School of Business, Lower Division in 2001. Dr. Jah completed a Fellowship in Geriatrics at the University of Connecticut, School of Medicine, Travelers Center on Aging in 1994. In his spare time Mohamed enjoys soccer, tennis, music and reading.
