SAN FRANCISCO, April 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Lifestyle brand ModCloth has appointed Phil Neri as chief financial officer (CFO), starting today. Mr. Neri joins ModCloth with over two decades of financial and operational experience in the consumer, online and multichannel retail sector, most recently serving as CFO at home and lifestyle brand Serena & Lily since 2011.
"Phil's tremendous financial leadership experience and expertise is a great fit with ModCloth's current phase of expansion and growth, including offline, international and brand extensions," said ModCloth CEO Matt Kaness. "His vision and passion for innovating our business model and scaling this business by continuing to focus on our ModCloth community and brand purpose is inspiring. I am eager to partner with him."
Prior to Serena & Lily, Mr. Neri held the CFO role at Delivery Agent, Inc. and Gumps of San Francisco, as well as financial leadership positions at Restoration Hardware and Williams-Sonoma, Inc.
ModCloth recently launched the "ModCloth IRL (In Real Life) Tour", a series of five pop-up shop events taking place across the country this summer. The first ModCloth IRL pop-up shop opened in Austin, Texas on April 8, and will operate through Memorial Day, May 30, 2016. The tour will end in ModCloth's founding city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in September 2016. These temporary shops are modeled off ModCloth's successful San Francisco hybrid showroom and store prototype, designed to bring the company's online shopping community to life.
