According to the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) report, "Mobile's Role in the Consumer's Media Day," consumers' receptiveness to mobile advertising and media consumption depends largely on the type of device, time of day and location. The report found that nearly half (47 percent) of tablet users engage with ads more than once a week, and one in four (25 percent) smartphone users interact with ads at that same frequency. More importantly, these smartphone and tablet users are extremely likely to take action (80 percent smartphone users and 89 percent tablet users).
