Rick Herman serves as chief strategy officer (CSO) of MobiTV, Inc. He drives strategic planning and execution to grow the footprint of MobiTV's end-to-end managed service platform. Herman identifies and evaluates strategic relationships, and manages the execution of alliances, partnerships and agreements to support a global corporate vision. He also supervises business development efforts and oversees content/programming and marketing/PR programs.
An industry veteran, Herman previously served as senior vice president of business and legal affairs of Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) in San Diego. He was responsible for the strategic transactions related to content acquisition, distribution and development worldwide. Prior to his role at SOE, Herman served as associate general counsel of At Home Corporation (Excite@Home).
