MobileIron will Extend Mobile Security Data into the Intel Security Portfolio
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- MobileIron (NASDAQ: MOBL), the leader in mobile enterprise security, today announced that it has joined the Intel Security Innovation Alliance™ partner program. The Intel Security Innovation Alliance program's mission is to accelerate the development of interoperable security products and to simplify the integration of these products with complex customer environments.
MobileIron complements the Intel Security product portfolio with its ability to deliver mobile-specific data to Intel Security solutions. Companies need comprehensive visibility into their mobile environment and this is increasingly critical as traditional computing endpoints, such as PCs, evolve into mobile-oriented architectures. By combining MobileIron with technologies from Intel Security, enterprises can effectively integrate mobile security data with a broader view of threats against the enterprise. This allows for more effective orchestration of responses along with the ability to better protect users and correct compromises when they are discovered.
"MobileIron eliminates security blind spots across mobile operating systems like iOS, Android, and Windows 10," said Sean Ginevan, Senior Director Strategy, MobileIron. "The collaboration with Intel Security will allow enterprises to integrate mobile security data into their broader operations and workflows to improve efficiencies and organizational compliance."
"We are pleased to add MobileIron to the Intel Security Innovation Alliance," said D.J. Long, Head of the Security Innovation Alliance at Intel Security. "Our customers face growing challenges to secure their networks and maintain compliance. By providing integration between MobileIron and Intel Security solutions, we can improve customers' Threat Defense Lifecycle and provide them better data protection, regardless of where that data resides."
MobileIron executives will be available at Intel Security FOCUS 15 in Las Vegas at The Venetian / The Palazzo Congress Center from October 26th – 28th, 2015. To request a meeting, please e-mail [email protected].
