MobileIron In-Process for Three Critical Federal Government Security Certifications
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- MobileIron (NASDAQ:MOBL), the leader in mobile enterprise security, announced today that it believes that it is the first Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) vendor in-process for three critical government security certifications: FedRAMP, NIAP Common Criteria and NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified programs (CSfC).
Both MobileIron's on-premises and cloud solutions are in process as follows:
- FedRAMP certification for MobileIron Cloud: The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services.

- NIAP Common Criteria MDM-PP certification for MobileIron Core: The National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) is responsible for U.S. implementation of the Common Criteria, including management of the NIAP Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS) validation body. In partnership with NIST, NIAP also approves Common Criteria Testing Laboratories to conduct these security evaluations in private sector operations across the U.S.

- NSA/CSS's Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) for MobileIron Core: The CSfC Program has been established to enable commercial products to be used in layered solutions protecting classified NSS data.
